Sunday School

Sunday School at Bethel
Since joining the Bethel Family, I have received many, many blessings as a member of a Sunday School class. We laugh, we cry, and we learn from each other and from our Heavenly Father every week. I very much want to share this experience with each and every one of you. I felt humbled and honored this year when the nominating committee asked me to serve the Church as Superintendent of Sunday School. I promise you that I will do whatever I can to support the current classes, and create new ones for those who are interested. You see, I feel that Sunday School helps to provide a strong foundation for Church life, fellowship, and Christian education. As of now we have three adult classes meeting, each with its own style and curriculum. Currently, we do not have a class for children or teens. I have been and will continue to pray for interested parents, children, teens, and teachers to step forward. I truly believe that Sunday School is critical to the Christian growth and development of our young people.
Will you join with me in exploring some new possibilities? Right now I am asking for two things. First, add our Sunday School program to your prayer list. Ask God for guidance for all of us who are involved now, those who would like to be involved, and those who are willing to help by making suggestions or comments on what we can do to glorify God through our Sunday School program. Second, please take the time this month to e-mail questions, comments or suggestions you may have about the Sunday School or any Discipleship ministry at Bethel. This is really important for planning purposes. Feel free to talk to me at church, or send me an email if there is anything you would like to add. (thomdecker@hotmail.com)
